Based on other reviews, I ordered a size up so that the straps wouldn't dig into my feet and make my feet look like sausages. The straps are TIGHT and are not forgiving, even in the larger size. And going up also runs the risk of having too much space at the toe of the shoe, which then just looks odd. Shoe is comfortable, but if I could, I would return them (already wore them outside).
